This article from Norton Abrasives explains some simple tips for sanding an existing prefinished hardwood floor down using Red Heat Sandpaper. A very good tip is included to sand the floor with an 80 grit first to rough up the finish before you sand with your rough grit. Read more to find out the full process.

Powernail has made some incredible advanced to their 18 Gage nailer, and re-introduced it as the Powernail Flex Flooring Nailer. Instead of having to switch out the foot plate and add shims to adjust the height of the foot based on what type of flooring you are installing, you can now use the adjustable Flex foot to quickly adjust the nailer.
