I just got news that Bona will be releasing a few new products next month at Surfaces, including Bona Traffic Gloss and Bona Traffic Anti Slip Satin! We know some of you are going to be excited about the Traffic Gloss, and a few more commercial installers about the Anti-Slip Satin.

Bona Traffic Commercial Gloss boasts a 65 to 70 sheen level. This is much higher than the 40 to 45 percent sheen the Commercial Semi Gloss has. Besides that and the fact that it is not Classified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. for slip resistance like Commercial Satin and Commercial Semi Gloss are, Bona Traffic Gloss is everything you’d expect it to be!

Bona Traffic Anti-Slip has all of the benefits and excellent durability of the regular Traffic Satin, but it has been formulated for slip resistance. It has a higher friction, so it is perfect for installation in commercial spaces that has an increase risk of wet spills or where ADA requirements are needed. It meets the ADA recommendation for accesible routes and ramps accoring to ASTM 2047. If that wasn’t enough, it also meets the German Industrial Norm for slip resistance DIN 51 130 with a rating of R10. With an approximate 25 percent sheen, it is just shinier than the regular Commercial Satin, which has a 15-20 percent sheen.
