Floor guys have been dealing with not so square walls, well, for as long as there have been walls. When working with stair cases, there can be so many slight differences in tolerances and measurements because of the other new dimensions introduced, getting a stair tread to fit can be murder! Enter the Woodwise Stair Cutting Jig, the perfect companion to our Hardwood Stair Treads (now with new lower price! *ding*ding*ding*).
The Stair Jig is used to measure the space where the stair tread is going to go, or the existing stair tread if you are replacing it. All you need to do is loosen the nuts, stretch it out into place, and tighten the nuts back up. Then take it over to your new stair tread, align it the points with the back of the tread and trace your lines on each side of the tread. After you cut the tread along those lines, you now have an exact match!
The Jig cuts Stair Treads that are 32″ to 52″ in length. For treads that are 52″ to 72″ in length, you can add the optional Woodwise Stair Cutting Jig Extention.

Hello Can you tell me where to buy Wojtek Measure tool.
